Thursday Trouve – Pillow Covers, Faux Plant, Napkins, Wooden Bowl, Console Table

Welcome to the new weekly series I’ve started called, Thursday Trouve! I receive messages and requests for products that I show in my home, so I thought this weekly series would be a great way to showcase items I have added to our home, or products that I just love in general. What is trouve you might ask? It is French for find…so essentially Thursday Finds! My hope is to share Thursday Trouve on social media and then follow up with a Thursday night blog post with photos showing how I’ve styled some of my finds in my home (fingers crossed I can pump out 2 blog posts a week!).

You can find the links to all products featured in this edition of Trouve on LIKEtoKNOW.it. I may not be able to link all products in LIKEtoKNOW.it, so links to those products will be located in this blog. LIKEtoKNOW.it is a great resource for me to share products with you, and for you to have a quick and easy way to shop them. I receive a small commission for each item purchased through my LIKEtoKNOW.it links. Find me and follow me on LIKEtoKNOW.it here: Eleanor Rose Home

Here is the roundup of items featured in last week’s debut of Thursday Trouve!

1.Cable Knit Chenille Throw Pillow (Target)

Fall is the perfect time to start adding texture back into your décor. Adding pillows with texture to your sitting areas will make your home feel warm and cozy on cool autumn days and nights. I purchased this pillow because I loved the cable knit texture, size, color, and price tag. It also passed the karate chop challenge! When shopping for pillows, look for ones that are at least 20×20 (bigger pillows equal more coziness) and look for pillows that have removable covers, so when they become dirty from the pets or the kids, you can just toss them into the washing machine.

2.Cozy Teddy Faux Fur Pillow Cover (Pottery Barn)

This pillow cover is a bit of an investment, but one I think will pay off this fall and winter. The texture of this cover is similar to your favorite stuffed animal…who would not want to cuddle up with that on the couch?! (Hubby loved the softness of this cover!) I purchased the tobacco color, because I thought it would be a great color for the fall and could transition easily into my winter décor, however it is available in multiple colors.

3.Washed Linen Cushion Cover (H&M)

If you have not discovered the home section of H&M, boy are you missing out! H&M has amazing quality, low priced items for the home. One of my favorite things to buy from H&M is their pillow covers. They are the best quality and a fraction of the price of most other retailers. I use these linen pillow covers for almost every season, so these are not just for the fall. Linen is a great fabric to use for any season. The only downside to linen is the wrinkles. I do find myself obsessing over the wrinkles and ironing the covers often to get rid of them (but that may just be me!).

4.Cozy Pumpkin Pillow (Pottery Barn)

I’ve been eyeing this pillow since last year. It is always out of stock, so if you are interested in purchasing this, check Pottery Barn’s website often to grab one while they have them. I wanted to purchase the white or tan pumpkin but both were out of stock so I purchased the smaller brown one. The brown pumpkin is on back order and I am not expected to receive it until late September (something to look forward to…right?!). I can’t wait to receive it and add to our home (I still want one of the bigger pumpkins, so I will continue to monitor their website!).

5.Artificial Branch Plant Arrangement in Cement Pot by Threshold w/Studio McGee (Target)

This item is from the Threshold w/Studio McGee line at Target. Threshold w/Studio McGee is a fun line to shop from, and they make it easy to style their seasonal collections together seamlessly. The leaves of this item are a beautiful shade of green, they do not look like the fake green that some faux stems can have. The branches are wirey, so you can easily manipulate them to look more realistic by shaping and bending them to achieve a more organic look. The pot is a nice taupe color with texture making it look like an old crock. I love finding faux stems or plants that look real to style with, especially because I do not have a green thumb!

6.Block Print Cotton Napkin Set (Purple Rose Home)

I have styled with these napkins in multiple photos that I’ve shared on social media, and I am always asked about them! I found them online from a small business right here in Massachusetts called, Purple Rose Home. As soon as I saw them, I had to have them. It was something about the block print, the color, texture, and overall cuteness of these napkins that drew me to them. They are very high quality, will have them for years to come, and supporting a small business in Massachusetts was an added bonus! 7.Round Wooden Bowl Threshold w/Studio McGee (Target)

This wooden bowl is another find from the fall collection of Threshold w/Studio McGee. This bowl is beautiful. It’s the perfect shade of brown for fall. In the summer, I keep everything light and bright in our house, but in the fall I like to add in dark wood tones to make the house feel warm and cozy. This bowl is the perfect vessel to display fruit on the counter, mini pumpkins on your coffee table, candy for Halloween, or anything you want gather and display in a bowl.

8.Wood Everett Foyer Table (World Market)

I’ve been eyeing this console table online for a couple of years, and it is a winner! When I started thinking of removing the buffet we had from behind the couch, I knew if I was going to replace it with something, it was going to be this table! With the white couch and white walls of our living room, I wanted a console table that didn’t blend in, but complemented all of the neutral tones. This table is the perfect color with warm honey tones, and some small areas of distressing. It has two drawers, perfect for the remote controls and other random items that can be tucked away. I love that this table is open unlike the other cabinet that had doors. The open shelving helps the room feel bigger and more open. I am planning on getting some tall wicker baskets for the bottom shelf for storage of pillows and blankets. This piece only took about 30 minutes to assemble and was extremely easy to put together. I can’t recommend this console table enough!
