A homemade lavender linen spray is an easy & simple way to refresh any room in your home.  With just a few quick sprays you will feel relaxed, and your home will smell fresh and new.

Lavender is known for it’s stress reducing and sleep inducing properties which makes this linen spray perfect for spraying on linens and so much more.

– Clear Plastic Spray Bottles – Dried Lavender – Lavender Essential Oil – Vodka or Clear Alcohol – Water – Wire Strainer – Mixing Bowl with Lip

Step One:

Heat 1 cup of water to a simmer and add 3 tablespoons dried lavender. Let the dried lavender steep in water for 5 minutes (essentially making a lavender tea).

Step Two:

In a bowl with a lip for pouring, add vodka & lavender essential oil. Mix together. Boil 1 1/2 cups of water, then add that to the vodka, essential oil mixture.

Step Three:

Place the wire strainer over the bowl with water, vodka, & oil and pour the lavender tea into the bowl.

Step Four:

Allow to cool before pouring into plastic spray bottles. This will fill approximately (2) 200 ml. spray bottles.

Step Five:

Spray lavender linen spray on bedding, towels, couches, blankets, and even use as a room spray.

Yes. You need to use vodka or another type of clear alcohol in the spray to help propel the lavender mixture through the air.

Do I have to use alcohol in my lavender linen spray?

This spray contains alcohol which acts as a preservative. So, it should last for at least one year and still contain it’s delightfully fresh lavender scent.

How long will linen spray last?

Linen spray is great to spritz on bed linens, towels, blankets, couches, dog beds, pillows, and fabrics.  It’s a great spray to keep for overnight company in a guest bedroom.
