Weekly Wednesday Wish List #242
Find 10 weekly picks in our Weekly Wednesday Wish List from cozy home decor and seasonal styling tips to easy recipes and simple ways to make your house feel like home.

We made it through January, which I personally think is one of the longest months of the year.
By the time February rolls around, I’m ready for something to look forward to, and this month actually delivers!
Between the Olympics starting this weekend, the Super Bowl on Sunday, and Valentine’s Day in a couple of weeks, February feels full in a good way.
It’s also the kind of full that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.
A cozy night around the television with a few fun snacks…that’s my favorite!!!
February is the perfect mix of cozy routines and small celebrations.
Watching events unfold from the comfort of home, adding a little Valentine charm here and there, and finding joy in the middle of winter without wishing it away.
This month is a reminder that even the quieter seasons can be fun and comforting.
Happy February!

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: As we continue to settle into our new home, I don’t have much artwork on the walls yet. So this favorite piece in one corner of my dining room is where I go when I’m tired of looking at blah and blank white walls.
2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Introduce warmth into winter rooms by adding wood tones in small ways like cutting boards leaned against a backsplash, wooden bowls on a table, or a simple stool beside a chair. Natural wood keeps winter spaces from feeling cold and adds an inviting, collected feel.
3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know that adding cozy layers like throws and pillows during winter isn’t just decorative? Layered textiles help a home feel warmer and more inviting, even without turning up the heat.
4. FAVORITE RECENT PURCHASE: Paying attention to small details can make or break a room. Our 1968 house still had its old, grody doorknobs when we moved it. Changing all of them to these new ones has made such a difference! Currently on sale for over half off.
From decor, gadgets, organizing, and needlepoint – check out all my favorite Amazon purchases HERE.
5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: Reconnect through handwritten notes. Send a thank-you, a thinking-of-you card, or a short letter. Thoughtful correspondence is a tradition worth reviving and a simple way to stay connected.

Let it sit for a few minutes until firm, then transfer to a cooling rack.
