Ingredients

  • 1 can Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp Butter melted

Instructions

  • Follow the instructions on the crescent roll package to get your oven ready for baking.
  • Open the can of crescent rolls, separate the triangles, and then roll each triangle into a tight crescent shape.
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake according to the package directions (usually for 10-12 minutes) until golden brown and puffed up.
  • While the crescent rolls bake, combine the mixture of white sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
  • Once the crescent rolls are done, remove them from the oven and immediately brush them with melted butter.
  • Roll each warm crescent roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you're not a fan of a strong cinnamon flavor, feel free to use less cinnamon in the sugar mixture.
  • Don’t worry about making the crescent rolls perfect. The beauty of this recipe is its simplicity. They don’t need to be evenly shaped or rolled in a specific way, just have fun with it!
  • You can easily double the cinnamon sugar mixture and store it for future crescent roll churros or sprinkle on buttered toast.
  • After the crescent rolls are baked, brush them with melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven. This will help the cinnamon sugar stick better.
  • These churros are best when served warm. They’ll stay soft and fluffy for a while, but the cinnamon sugar coating is crispest when fresh.
