Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Cucumber
  • 1 Lemon
  • Handful Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 8 cups Cold Water filtered or spring
  • Ice Cubes optional

Instructions

  • Wash the cucumber & lemon thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds using a mandolin.
  • Gently rinse the mint leaves. You can lightly crush the leaves with your hands or a spoon for a stronger mint flavor.
  • In a large pitcher combine the cucumber slices, lemon slices, and mint leaves.
  • Pour 8 cups of water into the pitcher and give a gentle stir to mix the ingredients.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1-2 hours (or overnight).
  • Pour the infused water into the glasses (with or without ice cubes), making sure to include some of the cucumber, lemon, and mint for garnish.

Notes

  • Use fresh, organic cucumbers, lemons, and mint if possible. The fresher the ingredients, the better the flavor.
  • Allow your water to infuse for at least 1-2 hours, but for a more intense flavor, let it sit overnight.
  • Adjust the ingredient quantities to suit your personal tastes. Add more lemon for tanginess, more cucumber for a milder flavor, or more mint for an extra refreshing kick.
