Instructions

Assembling the Treat Bags

  • Start by placing two graham cracker squares at the back of the cellophane bag, followed by the chocolate candy bar, and finally the ghost-shaped Peep in the front.
  • Take a 18" long piece of ribbon and tie it at the top of the cellophane bag to close it.
  • Print out the free printable Halloween tags on card stock, cut them out, and use a hole punch to attach them to the ribbon. Then tie the ribbon into a bow.

How to Make Ghost Peep S'mores

  • Place one graham cracker square on a microwavable safe plate. Take the unwrapped chocolate candy bar and place it on top of the graham cracker. Set the ghost peep on top of the chocolate.
  • Microwave the s'more for 10-15 seconds, or until the peep starts to puff up and the chocolate begins to melt. Keep an eye on it so the marshmallow doesn’t over inflate!
  • Remove from the microwave and carefully place the second graham cracker square on top.
  • Gently press down to create the perfect gooey s'more.

Notes

    • Mix things up by using other Peep marshmallows like pumpkin shaped or Frankenstein shaped ones.
    • Print the free printable tags on thick cardstock. This will make the tags more durable and professional looking. You can also use decorative scissors or punches to create fun edges around the tags.
    • These treat bags can be assembled a 1-2 days in advance and then stored in a cool, dry place.
