In a separate bowl, melt the butter and then mix in the packet of ranch dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
Pour the butter mixture over the snack mixture mixing together until all of the snack pieces are coated in butter.
Spread the Chex mix evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake Chex mix in a 250 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.
Enjoy!
Notes
Don't add the melted butter all at once to the snack pieces. Pour about half of the seasoned butter into the mix, stir, and repeat. This allows all of the snack pieces to be equally coated in that bold butter flavor.
Use a spatula to stir. This helps to not crush the cereal or snack pieces like a spoon would. Or better yet, get down & dirty by using your hands!
Make sure the Chex mix is in a thin, even layer on the baking sheet to allow for even baking. Use two baking sheets if one sheet is not big enough.
Bake this delicious Chex mix recipe at a low temperature in the oven. Rotate or stir the pan every 15 minutes or so to ensure even baking.
