This week’s Wish List is packed with all kinds of summer goodness.

I’m sharing the top three posts everyone has been clicking on lately, a simple DIY citronella candle project that’s perfect for outdoor entertaining, a festive charcuterie board recipe, and plenty of cozy finds for your home.

There are also some great wardrobe pieces I’ve been loving, a roundup of easy patriotic DIY projects, and more sales than I can be trusted around.

If you’re decorating for the 4th of July, refreshing your home for summer, planning a gathering with friends and family, or simply looking for a few fun finds to brighten your day, I think you’ll find something to love in this week’s list.

4. THIS AND THAT: Read THIS when you are looking for sheets- so helpful! Get your front porch 4th of July ready with THIS. Make THIS and THIS, easy summer DIYs to light up your evenings. I did THIS last summer on the edge of a tea towel. So easy, and fun! THAT‘s all.

5. FABULOUS FINDS: Looks like Pottery Barn for a lot less…

6. BEAUTIFUL HOME TOURS: One of my favorite decorators is Bunny Williams. We have toured her Connecticut home and bedroom; now let’s tour her lovely layered NYC apartment. The first home I fell totally in love with was this one-see the original Nancy Meyers look. Are you old enough to remember it? Explore three enchanting gardens where creative storytelling blooms.

7. FUN AND INTERESTING FACTS: It’s Thunderstorm season. What is the difference between a thunderstorm warning and a watch? What summer month is the most popular for birthdays?

8. CURATED CLOSET:

9. CULINARY CORNER: Easy Parmesan Vinaigrette: In a blender, small food processor, or jar with lid, blend 3 Tbsp white wine vinegar, 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, pinch red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper, and 1 tsp honey until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

10. THE LAST WORD: Scent is a powerful way to make your home feel like summer. Choose scents that belong only to this season and let them work quietly all summer long. See more ideas for your summer home HERE.

ANSWER TO #7: A thunderstorm warning means that the storm is happening or imminent. Take action. A thunderstorm watch means one is possible in the near future. Be prepared. August is the most popular birthday month. Now you know!
