Cheesecake Dip 7 ounces Cream Cheese softened 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract 1/2 cup Heavy Cream whipped to stiff peaks 1/3 cup Caramel Sauce Topping Additional Caramel Sauce for drizzling Crushed or Whole Vanilla Wafers For Serving 2-3 Apples sliced Lemon Juice optional
In a large mixing bowl beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until almost combined.
Add the caramel sauce and gently fold it into the mixture until evenly distributed. Don't overmix so the whipped cream stays light and airy.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the dip to firm up and the flavors to meld.
Transfer the chilled dip to a serving dish. Top with additional caramel and crushed or whole vanilla wafers.
Serve with fresh apple slices. If preparing the apples ahead of time, toss them with a little lemon juice to help prevent browning.
Use full-fat cream cheese for the creamiest texture.
Make sure the heavy cream reaches stiff peaks before folding it into the cream cheese.
Slightly warm very thick caramel to make it easier to fold into the mixture.
Chill the dip for at least 2 hours for the best consistency.
Add vanilla wafers immediately before serving so they stay crisp.
The dip can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance.
