It’s Tax Day which means you’ve either already filed and are treating yourself to something cozy, or you’re stress scrolling the internet looking for a distraction.

Either way, you’re in the right place!

This week’s wish list has a little bit of everything…

I’m sharing easy ways to bring blue cozy cottage decor into your home no matter where you’re starting from, a cozy tip about buying the weird stuff (trust me on this one!), a spring brunch recipe that comes together in minutes, a fun garden DIY using Scrabble tiles, and a few things I’ve been loving lately.

Heidi | Eleanor Rose Home

Weekly Wednesday Wish List #252 Eleanor Rose Home cottage style kitchen.

1. FEELING BLUE: After years of decorating with neutrals, I’ve been falling back in love with blue. From throw pillows and textiles to wallpaper and paint, I’m walking you through easy ways to bring blue cozy cottage decor into your home no matter where you’re starting from.

2. COZY TIP OF THE WEEK: Buy the weird stuff. The quirky, unexpected piece that makes you smile for no explainable reason is often the very thing that gives a room personality and makes your home feel like you. See the weird thing I bought!

3. AMAZON FINDS: Shop cozy finds I’m loving on Amazon.

4. LITTLE THINGS I’M LOVING:

  • If you’re wanting to update your dinnerware on a budget, I cannot recommend these dishes enough.
  • Because your serving utensils should also be beautiful.
  • Have you heard of wall charms? I think these ones are adorable!!!
  • Grabbing a few of these for the pool (or for when we head to the beach).

5. FROM MY KITCHEN TO YOURS: Orange crescent rolls are the perfect spring treat. Buttery, flaky crescent dough filled with a cream cheese orange zest filling, and topped with a delicious orange glaze. They’re on the table in 25 minutes and never last long!

6. UPDATING MY WARDROBE:

  • I’m hoping Mr. ERH has gotten the hint that I’d like this sweatshirt for Mother’s Day. Here’s another cute one and this one.
  • The cutest top for Memorial Day, 4th of July, or a day of summer sailing.
  • Wear this cable knit vest a MILLION different ways.
  • The white jeans everyone is going gaga for. Under $30 and come in short, regular, and long lengths.
  • Have and love this quilted jacket. I can’t believe it’s on sale for $15…truly a steal.
  • Love the lace detail on this dress and the berry pink color. This dress is perfect for summer too.
  • Everyone needs a good denim skirt. Am I right or am I right?
  • Tie this scarf on this handbag for an effortless summer look.

7. MAKE THIS WITH ME: Make your own plant markers with Scrabble tiles, bamboo skewers, and a hot glue gun. Sort your tiles into piles for each plant name, glue them onto the skewers one by one, and add them to your garden.

8. OVER ON THE ‘GRAM: I didn’t realize bedsheets were the thing our kitchen was missing.

9. WEEKLY MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

“Home is the comfiest place to be.”

10. CELEBRATE NATIONAL LAUNDRY DAY (yes it’s a real thing) by making your own all-natural laundry scent booster. Skip the store bought beads loaded with chemicals and make your own instead with Epsom salt, baking soda, and your favorite essential oils.

Suzy | Worthing Court

Weekly Wednesday Wish List #252 Worthing Court living room.

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: This unfinished corner of my living room has been getting a lot of attention lately, though there’s still more to do. I’m trying to take my time and enjoy the process. I’ve surrounded the TV with plates and ginger jar prints (downloaded from Etsy) in thrifted frames and had printed at Walgreens. If you look closely, you’ll see two needlepoint pieces taped in a frame. That will head to the framer once all four are finished. The corner isn’t done yet, but it has come a long way!

2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Bring in spring branches like cherry blossom, dogwood, or forsythia and arrange them in a tall vase. Even a few stems add height, movement, and a fresh seasonal look to any room.

3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know rotating decorative trays and serving pieces from cabinets into everyday use helps keep kitchens feeling fresh without buying anything new?

4. FAVORITE RECENT PURCHASE: I recently ordered this lampshade and can’t wait for it to arrive! It’s the perfect blue and white small print and is on sale!

5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: Share a meal without rushing. Whether it’s family or friends, sitting down together is one of the simplest ways to reconnect.

6. READER QUESTION OF THE WEEK: “I have a small front porch. Is it still worth decorating for spring?” See #10 for the answer!

7. WEEKLY AWESOME FINDS:

  • Arranged in a charming ceramic jug, these artificial wildflowers bring a touch of color and countryside warmth without any upkeep.
  • Simple and timeless, these wooden candlesticks bring a warm, natural touch that feels right at home in both everyday styling and special gatherings.
  • Perfect for keeping notes, photos, and reminders in one place, this striped oak and linen memo board blends function with a warm, collected look.
  • Shaped to fit neatly along a staircase, this woven basket offers a smart and stylish way to keep everyday items organized and within reach.
  • Crafted with a simple, classic shape, these wooden candlestick holders add warmth and an old-world touch to any table or mantel display.
  • Tucked into a vase or layered into an arrangement, this hydrangea stem adds a soft, realistic touch of color that feels fresh in any season.
  • Designed with a timeless stoneware finish, this planter offers a simple, beautiful way to display greenery while adding texture and character to your space.
  • Right at the front door, this wavy stripe coir mat adds a fresh, welcoming touch with just the right bit of pattern and personality.

8. WEARABLE STYLE:

  • In a classic gingham print, this nap dress combines a soft, easy fit with a timeless look that feels both comfortable and beautifully put together.
  • Tied at the front for a relaxed finish, this poplin shirt brings a fresh, easygoing feel to a classic everyday style.
  • A lovely blend of detail and simplicity, this eyelet button-front blouse feels light, airy, and effortlessly polished for everyday wear.
  • With its ruffled crochet detail and relaxed shape, this tote bag brings a charming, summery feel that’s perfect for errands, outings, or a day away.
  • Finished in textured raffia, these sandals offer a natural, refined look that pairs effortlessly with everything from dresses to casual denim.
  • Trimmed with delicate lace, this voile top has a light, airy feel that brings a soft, feminine touch to everyday outfits.
  • Cut from breathable linen, these wide-leg pants offer an easy, polished look that feels cool and comfortable all day long.
  • With their clean lines and soft gold finish, these sandals add a subtle touch of shine that dresses up both casual and more polished looks.

9. HOME HACK: Set a timer for a 10-minute “spring reset” each afternoon. Spring is a great time to ease back into routines after winter. A short daily reset to straighten pillows, clear counters, and open windows keeps the house feeling fresh without a big cleaning session.

10. ANSWER TO READER QUESTION (#5):  Absolutely! Even a tiny porch can make a big impact. A fresh doormat, a pot of seasonal flowers, and a simple wreath on the door are often all you need. Small spaces actually look best when you keep the decor simple and intentional.

10. THE LAST WORD: Create a “red thread” in your home by repeating one subtle element, like a color, material, or pattern, from room to room. It helps everything feel connected and beautifully put together.

ANSWER TO #7: Allodoxaphobia is the fear of what other people think. A jiffy is 1/100th of a second. Now you know.
