DIY Easter Gift Idea
Let me show you how to make the cutest Easter gift…your Easter guests are going to love them!

Supplies Needed for Peter Rabbit Party Favors
Here’s what you will need to make these simple & sweet Easter party favors along with links to shop each item.
- 3″ Terracotta Pots: I used 3″ terracotta pots. This size seemed to be the best size for this gift idea, not too big & not too small.
- Brown Shredded Paper: Brown crinkle paper is best for this gift idea. It resembles dirt inside the terracotta pot.
- Lindt Chocolate Carrots
- Peter Rabbit Cut Outs: The Peter Rabbit cut outs could be eliminated in this gift idea. You could simply place another carrot in place of the cut out. However, I love Peter Rabbit and wanted to incorporate him in this gift idea!
- Cellophane Bags
- 3/8″ Green Gingham Ribbon: I loved the look of the vibrant green gingham ribbon at the top of this DIY Easter gift. You could certainly use your favorite pattern or color Easter ribbon instead.

How to Make Peter Rabbit Party Favors

Place a handful of brown crinkled paper into the terracotta pot, filling all the way to the top.

Take 2 Lindt chocolate carrots and remove the plastic stick & hook from top of the carrot. Simply bend the plastic stick back & forth until it breaks off, then discard.

Push the 2 chocolate carrots (with the Lindt label facing toward the back of the pot) into the crinkled paper in the terracotta pot. Leave a small amount of the orange carrot showing through the brown paper.

Take one of the Peter Rabbit cut outs and push that into the crinkled paper in front of the chocolate carrots.
Open the cellophane bag and carefully slide the terracotta pot into the bag, centering the pot on the bottom of the bag.

Take about a 1.5′ long piece of ribbon and wrap that around the top of the cellophane bag leaving about 1″ of the cellophane bag at the top.

Tie the ribbon into a knot and then a simple bow. Cut the ends of the ribbon to finish the bow & fluff the top of the cellophane bag.
Your Peter Rabbit favors are ready for gifting!

These would be adorable placed at each place setting on an Easter table! Or, place these on a hutch or buffet and hand out after Easter dinner or when guests begin leaving. You could also add a name tag to these DIY Easter gifts so each person knows which gift is theirs.
However you gift this Easter party favor to your guests, they are going to love them!
